With the regular season right around the corner, the Toronto Maple Leafs have sha a very cryptic message outside of the Scotiabank Arena that has the fan base abuzz.
Hockey season is upon us with some rookie camps opening up today, training camps scheduled for some time next week, and the regular season kicking off in about a month's time.
With that, there's already so much excitement and buzz around most fan bases, but the Toronto Maple Leafs decided to give their fans something extra to look forward to with a very cryptic message outside of the Scotiabank Arena as well as their social media account.
The message should read "Toronto Maple Leafs Home Opener, Saturday October 12th", however, they removed all the O's from the sentence. On top of that, they also removed the O's from their profile picture, which generally reads "Forever".
It remains to be seen what this message could actually mean, but at the very least, we know that we should find out before their home opener on the 12th of October against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
