Huge Night For Tyler Ennis.

It was a big night for the Toronto Maple Leafs as they defeated the Calgary Flames 6-2. Forward Zach Hyman registered two goals, but it was Tyler Ennis who stole the show with his first career hat trick. The hat trick was the real cherry on top as Ennis' parents were in attendance in an area they're all very familiar with. "I played a lot of games here," said Ennis, who played four years of junior hockey in Medicine Hat. "Had some rivalries with the [Calgary] Hitmen over the years. I'm familiar with this rink. To get a hat trick in it with my parents watching playing for the Leafs is a real special night for me."
What makes it even more amazing was that Ennis was a healthy scratch the game before and the forward proved that he should likely stay in the lineup going forward. His parents, his first career hat trick and chants of "Go Leafs Go" in the crowd really made it something he'll never forget, but to be on the road and have fans throw hats on the ice really made it incredible. "We're so lucky to have this fan base. To have that many hats on the ice in an away arena is very special. It was just a great night," Ennis said.
With Ennis back to full health, hopefully this is just a sign of things to come for the forward.
