Leafs' New Lineup Without Auston Matthews.

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced early on Monday that Auston Matthews had been placed on injured reserve and is expected to miss a minimum of 4 weeks. With the first line center out of the lineup, head coach Mike Babcock was forced to make some changes. Not only did Babcock have to find a replacement on the first line, but Babcock also had to switch up his power play units. For now, Babcock has decided that forward John Tavares will take Matthews' place in between Zach Hyman and Kasperi Kapanen. Nazem Kadri will bump up to the second line and play in between Patrick Marleau and Mitch Marner while Andreas Johnsson has been reunited with Par Lindholm and Connor Brown.The fourth line will feature Tyler Ennis and Josh Leivo on the wing and Frederik Gauthier playing center. As for the powerplay, it's Kapanen will jump up and take Matthews' spot on the first unit alongside Rielly, Kadri, Marner and Tavares.
