Maple Leafs enforcer Ryan Reaves has let his feelings be known about new coach Craig Berube's coaching style.

Berube was hired by the Leafs back in May and it seems as thoigh fans of the blue and white are not only excited and ready for the change, but the players seem to be in the same boat, Ryan Reaves especially. He had a plethora of optimism when talking about the Leafs new head coach during a sit down with NHL.com's Dave McCarthy on Sirius XM's Sunday Brunch.

"He's going to be a new attitude, just a little new swagger that the team has been missing.

With him having a cup in his first year in St Louis, everyone understands that he had a big part in turning that team around."

The Leafs under Sheldon Keefe seemed to be lacking the "playoff hockey" type of play style at times and often looked like they had lost their confidence last season. Berube brings a strong coaching style that instills a team first mentality and a high intensity play style, something that the Leafs have lacked many times before and specifically in the post-season.

"I talked to guys about him and everyone says the same thing, that they would go through a wall for the guy," Reaves said of Berube.

There are still a couple of months to kill before training camp begins and we don't know what the team will look like yet, entirely. However, there is a certain element of excitement surrounding this new coaching hire in Toronto and folks are eager to see what he can accomplish in his first year of his 4-year deal in Toronto.
