Max Domi's first goal as a Leaf with the legendary Joe Bowen's play call
For Max Domi, his first goal in a Toronto Maple Leafs uniform was a long, long time coming. While Domi has only been Leaf for 22 games, he's been waiting a lot longer for the special moment. Domi, as we all know, grew up around the team with his dad, Tie Domi, spending 12 seasons in Toronto, eventually retiring as a Leaf.
During tonight's game against the Boston Bruins, Domi finally bagged himself a goal and boy, oh boy, was it ever a beauty. As beautiful as the goal was, it was even better with the legendary Joe Bowen's epic play call!
Hopefully, with the first one now out of the way, the floodgates will open for Domi, who has been close on a number of occasions earlier on this season.
Domi's game has really ramped up since shifting to center a few weeks back and being placed on a line with Nick Robertson and Calle Jarnkrok. If the trio can find a way to continue to produce on a consistent basis, look out.
