Pretty darn bad when the player has to find out from his mom off Twitter don't ya think!!!
We saw during the Leafs All or Nothing documentary that when
Jimmy Vesey was put on waivers, Kyle Dubas met with him to make him aware of the situation. It appears this was not the case with Perlini and he found out when the general population did - if not later.
This is just another example of the disaster of a season that the Oilers have had this year. Whether Perlini gets claimed or not, GM Ken Holland should certainly hold himself to a higher standard than to allow a player and his family find out news that impacts his career on social media.
